To choose the best niche for blogging, you need to know how to evaluate the search traffic and competition of a keyword.
Step 1 – Find the estimated search volume by using the Google Keyword Planner tool.
Take the keyword into Google Keyword Planner and search for it.
Step 2 – Estimate the amount of competition based on a keyword’s search volume and difficulty level.
Step 3 – Check the competition. What is the domain authority of the sites in the top three spots? If the first few results in the SERP don’t seem to be authority sites, you should consider moving to a different keyword.

Step 5 – Find the estimated competition of the keyword you are researching by using the Google AdWords Keyword Planner tool.
Step 6 – Choose a niche based on the competition and the estimated search volume.
